Two Bentwood Chairs of Minimal Essence
The ‘Shell’ represents the core concept of my architecture: to embrace and protect the connection between people and place. This vision is embodied in the form of these chairs.
Inspired by the Japanese aesthetic of “sori” (Reversed curve) the floating seat integrates seamlessly into the curved backrest, achieving a tension-filled balance. Within this minimal yet dynamic form lies a synthesis of traditional Japanese craftsmanship, cultural sensibility, and the essence of the forest.
These chairs are not mere objects, but vessels of tradition, nature, and the timeless interplay of balance and beauty.
